THE WAIT AT VICKSBURG
$180.00Price
Don Stivers demonstrates his remarkable aptitude for portraiture once again. From the 1959 film "The Horse Soldiers," John Wayne costars as Union Cavalry Colonel John Marlowe who leads his brigade on a mission behind enemy lines to destroy a Confederate railroad and depot at Newton's Station, Mississippi. The story is loosely based on Col. Benjamin Grierson's raid in April, 1863 and was a vital part of General Grant’s campaign for the capture of Vicksburg.
